Tumbling RocksThese tumbling rocks have been crushed and sized to be suitable for tumbling in a 3 pound rock tumbler barrel. I offer agate, jasper, petrified wood, quartz, and much more: including a standard grade of mixed tumbling rocks; and a premium blend which is a mix of my finest stones for tumbling.
Tumbling Rocks, Premium Grade This rich blend of my best tumbling rocks contains a wide assortment of stones: A little bit of most everything I offer on the site that has a hardness of about 7; agate, jasper, amethyst, quartz, crystals, aventurine, petrified wood, thunder eggs, geodes, semi-polished skipping stones, etc. Other stones I don`t have enough of to list on the site; crazy lace agate, hematite, tiger`s eye, bloodstone, dinosaur bone, etc. And treasures I run across while filling the box.
Tumbling Rocks, Standard Grade This is my standard grade of tumbling rock. They are a nice grade of many different kinds and colors of somewhat blandish stones. I only put stone in this mix that I think will tumble to a high lustre shine.
The stones in this mix may include: rose quartz; snow quartz; green aventurine quartz; purple jasper; yellow jasper; red jasper; petrified wood; black, yellow, and grey chert; flint; chalcedony; agate; quartzite; semi-polished river rocks, and a variety of other nice rocks that I don`t have names for. (This mix does not contain hard to polish rocks like obsidian or common opal.) The second photo shows what they look like polished.
Wonderstone Rhyolite is a form of very soft lava. Iron has stained this rock with fascinating patterns of red, white, and yellow. Wonderstone Rhyolite is very soft and can be readily carved with a dremel tool. Dark Colored Cherts and Jaspers This mix contains many different types of dark colored cherts and jaspers in shades of gray and black, sometimes with a bit of yellow, green, or red mixed in. There is sometimes a bit of agate or rhyolite in the mix
